Advanced Occupational Driver Training

This highly effective one day course designed for all occupational drivers focuses on helping drivers to develop the attitudes, behaviours and technical skills which can be employed to reduce road risk while driving on company business.

B+E Trailer Towing Category Training

This training is required for any person required to tow trailers who has not got B+E entitlement on their licence. This affects all drivers who passed their test since January 1997 and includes those who may have needed to retake their test since that date. The only exemptions are trailers below 750kg MAM (unbraked). So if you need to tow a mini digger, caravan, boat, horsebox or car transporter you need B+E on your licence.

Banksmen / Yard Ops

Recommended for nominated people on a large premises or site with transport movement issues e.g. shared access / on busy road / high vehicle volume. Includes training in guiding vehicles, hand signals and safety.

Driver Skills Assessment

This assessment is required as per HSE best practice requirements for employers to "risk assess" their vehicle drivers, this includes full management reporting to enable managers to reduce risk where required.

Driving Regulations Awareness

To inform by practical demonstration the legal responsibilities regarding transport and driving regulations. Course delivered over 1 day.

Forklift truck operation

To enable operators in locations equipped with forklifts or other forms of Mechanical Handling equipment to operate those machines following training to a suitable national standard. Course takes between 1 and 5 days to complete depending on prior experience. Training is delivered and certified to ITSSAR national standard.

IPAF - MEWPS - 1A Static Scissor / Vertical Lift

IPAF - MEWPS - 1B Static Boom / Vehicle Mounted

This course is the internationally recognised operators course, which teaches delegates how to use specific categories of Mobile Elevated Work Platform. It concentrates on the safe use of MEWPS, enabling delegates to become fully competent to drive the MEWP safely. This course concentrates on the Static Boom machine which may be a vehcile mounted boom. Machine also known as a Cherry Picker or JLG

IPAF MEWP - 1A & 1B Static Scissor and Boom

This course is the internationally recognised operators course, which teaches delegates how to use specific catagories of Mobile Elevated Work Platform. It concentrates on the safe use of MEWP's, enabling delegates to become fully competent to drive MEWP's safely. This course concentrates on static Scissors and Booms these may be trailer or vehicle mounted, these machines are also known as Cherry Pickers, Genie Lifts, JLG's and Magic Carpets, Niftylifts and Nifty 120.

This course is the internationally recognised operators course, which teaches delegates how to use specific catagories of Mobile Elevated Work Platform. It concentrates on the safe use of MEWP's, enabling delegates to become fully competent to drive MEWP's safely. This course concentrates on the Scissor Lift (SL) AND the Self Propelled Boom (SPB) these machines are also known as Cherry Pickers, Genie Lifts, JLG's and Magic Carpets

LGV Cat C1 (up to 7.5 tonnes)

For drivers who need Category C added to their licence so that they can drive vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes. Drivers who past their driving test after January 1997 do not automatically gain this entitlement

LPG Safe Carriage

This course covers the employers responsibility under the ADR Regulations to have "adequate training" for their staff who have to transport and store LPG gas. This course covers legal requirements and recommended best practice.

Mini Excavator FLS (JCB Loading)

This course covers safe loading and securing of small mobile plant including mini diggers. This course is ideal for utilities contractors where operators are well trained for machine use e.g. excavation but have not received formal training on transportation, trailer checks and law and securing of plant for transport

NPORS Slinger Signaller

For site operatives who are expected to act as Slingers and Signallers. Course has previously refered to as Slinger Banksman Training. Theory training and practical test covering: Safety awareness session, Pre-lifting checks, Lifting accessories checks, Lifting and moving, Post lifting checks

Telescopic Handler - CPCS A17C Red Card

Training on safe operation and use of telescopic handlers. To achieve CPCS Category A17C Red Card. NPORS equivilent card is also available.
