This hand-on practical workshop is designed for those who are already confident users of Microsoft word at basic, intermediate or advanced level, and who now wish to create web-based materials. The course will cover a range of practical exercises designed to demonstrate how simple web pages and web sites can be created using Microsoft Word. Attendees will also learn the basic processes of setting up domain names and uploading web sites and web-based materials to the World Wide Web. The course will cover the creation of informational web materials but will not cover the creation of e-commerce sites.
