This course is for first line managers – those who have to, or are about to, acquire supervisory responsibilities. The course aims to highlight the need for risk assessment in the workplace, implementation of the necessary control measures and adequate communication and monitoring in order to provide and maintain positive standards of health, safety and welfare on a construction site. The SSSTS training course is designed to ensure that candidates have an overview and understanding of their responsibility for supervising and helping to oversee safety in a construction site environment. The SSSTS training course is an ideal lead in for delegates who will go on to attend the five-day CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) at a later stage of their career development.

Working At Height Devon EX2 7LW

This course is based around the Work at Height Regulations 2005. It is designed to give delegates an understanding of the regulations, and what these mean for the employee as well as the employer. The course covers risk assessments and shows delegates how to plan any work at height, including equipment selection and how to put measures into place to prevent falls. The course can be tailored to individual companies needs.

Wednesday, 21 March
First Aid - Full (Now 3 Day)  

This course will run for a total of 18 hours including the examination. Maximum of 6 hours per day. At the end of the course the examination is conducted by two independent assessors. Successful candidates receive a certificate valid for 3 years from the examination date. This course is HSE approved.

This course is the internationally recognised operators course, which teaches delegates how to use specific catagories of Mobile Elevated Work Platform. It concentrates on the safe use of MEWP's, enabling delegates to become fully competent to drive MEWP's safely. This course concentrates on the Scissor Lift (SL) AND the Self Propelled Boom (SPB) these machines are also known as Cherry Pickers, Genie Lifts, JLG's and Magic Carpets
