It is also for staff assisting a qualified first aider and for businesses with a low risk working environment and less than 50 people. An 'Appointed Person' certificate valid for 3 years is issued on completion of the course.

Suitable for the Tool Hire Industry, Power Tool Repairers and Domestic Appliance Engineers. Once delegates have completed the course they are legally authorised to carry out PAT testing indefinitely. We do however recommend a refresher course every 3 years.
